Blogger Madness

For some reason, Helier and Crispina's "highly, highly recommended" read didn't show up in the last post, and every time I tried to edit it, the whole post disappeared from the "compose" page. Ain't got time for that!

Anyway, here, again, I hope, is one of our favorite saint-/ Early-Church-themed reads of all time:

So there.

Just stopped by to say hello and to ask all your Saints to say a special prayer for me also. :)

Peace

Hurrah! We just "accidentally" bought this book- I'm so glad you recommend it.

Always, Victor. Stop in any time.

Faith, we loved this book. We read it in little Charlotte-Mason-sized increments over probably six months, and the kids regarded it as a real cliffhanger. When we finally finished it, they wanted to start it over again. I hope yours enjoy it.

I miss "Icons and Curiosities" but enjoy visiting here, and reading some of the recommended books. I am an Orthodox mother of 7 and grandmother of 3 (just getting started I hope) who has thouroughly relished raising and homeschooling my children. It's heartwarming to see that you enjoy yours.
BTW I bought the little St Joseph watch charm from e-bay. thanks for the tip

Oh, I'm so glad that watch charm found a home! Makes me sad to see things with family provenance up for sale to just anybody. But of course, the "anybody" can turn out to be wonderful, and the change of hands a blessing.

This blog tends to be a little more eclectic and personal than I&C was, but I hope you'll stop in often.
