Though, as E. reports, B. remains her usual sunny, cheeky self, they are quite understandably shattered. Please pray for healing for their daughter, and peace and courage for the entire family -- B. is the youngest of their five children -- as they enter this dark tunnel together.
UPDATE: Please particularly pray today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday). B. goes in today -- well, they're in the UK, so she's already gone in -- for an MRI under general anesthetic, and tomorrow she undergoes a biopsy of the tumor, also under general anesthetic.
ANOTHER UPDATE: From E, after Thursday's MRI:
MRI went well but it's still unclear where the tumour is coming from. Latest is that it may be either a hepatoblastoma or a germ cell tumour. Tomorrow they will do a biopsy after another ultrasound to try to determine the origin. If the liver, they have to go through the liver to get to it. Then they'll put a line in to her so that she can start chemo, probably next week.

Will do.
Thank you. Reading their announcement on Facebook was like being kicked in the stomach -- I can only imagine how the news felt to them.
Will pray! I cannot imagine what it's like to be educated in medicine and find this in your child. Lord have mercy on this family! Love, Margie
Will do.
This year seems to be a very difficult Advent for many families I know.
