And apparently she didn't even miss classes to do it. The nun who teaches her theology class told her that the way to be first in line at St. Peter's was to push nuns out of the way. Anyway, she and her friends stood in line outside the gate from 11:30 this morning, Rome time, till 3 in the afternoon, and they got in and got great seats, and there he was. And then on the way out, some priest laughed at her gigantic backpack.
And I really hope she plans to blog about it all, once her history test is over.

Truly his last public Mass? I thought he had two more weeks - isn't that enough time to book a ticket and head to Italy?
Sad for the rest of us, exciting for your daughter.
Oh how exciting. I popped over to her blog and glanced at her pictures. Oh the nostalgia. Wave upon wave of Rome-sickness. I want to go back.
Well, that's just too cool.
Thank you for letting us know about her blog -- how lovely to be in Rome during this time and I really appreciate her pictures. I want to go!
So happy she got to attend!!!
